When is Eats and Beats on?
Eats and Beats is held on the last Friday of every second month from 4:30pm to 8:30pm (excludes December due to the Mayor Christmas Carols, and January due to Australia Day festivities).
Where is Eats and Beats located?
As Eats and Beats is a ‘pop up’ event, it moves around the City of Logan monthly, showcasing our various suburbs. Please stay up to date with our latest location by liking our Facebook page.
Is there an entry fee?
No. Eats and Beats is a free event run by Logan City Council to give back to its community and promote positive city image.
Is alcohol available to purchase at Eats and Beats?
No. Eats and Beats is an alcohol free event. Anyone found with alcohol at Eats and Beats will be asked to leave by security.
Is there parking?
Street parking is free at all venues. Please stay up to date with our latest parking locations by liking our Facebook page.

Can we bring our pets?
Unfortunately, no. In the best interests of event attendees and our furry friends – we remind attendees that no pets (apart from assistance dogs) are permitted into the event precinct.
These monthly events are hugely popular, drawing large crowds that range in age from babies to pensioners. While most pets are friendly, the large volume of people can cause anxiety in some pets along with safety concerns for some attendees.
This decision is made with the utmost consideration for the health and wellbeing of both pets and event participants. As fellow participants and animal lovers, we thank you for your understanding in implementing this policy. Assistance animals such as guide dogs are welcome in all areas.
Is there seating available at Eats and Beats?
Eats and Beats provide various table and chairs on site, but patrons are welcome to bring a picnic rug to the event. There are also many more places to stand, eat and drink at our dry bars.
Are there ATM facilities onsite?
ATM facilities are available onsite for patron use. Only some food vendors have EFTPOS facilities.
Pro tip: To avoid lining up in ATM queues, plan to get cash out before the event.
Is there disabled access?
Yes. All event sites are assessable by wheelchair. Disabled parking is available onsite at each event and is managed by our Traffic Controllers. If you have any queries please don’t hesitate to email for more information.
Lost property?
If you lose something at Eats and Beats please go to the City of Logan information marquee and advise staff of what you have lost. Please provide your contact details, should your lost items be returned. If you have lost something at one of our events please email the events team.
What happens in the event of lost children?
If you lose a child at the event, please make contact with the closest security officer or one of our Eats & Beats event staff. Procedures are in place to manage these situations.
What happens in the event of rain or extreme weather?
The event will only be cancelled if inclement weather is scheduled and continues on the day. Events will not be postponed to a later date due to short notice for food vendor and performer availability. Is first aid available onsite?
Yes. First Aid officers are onsite for all events in case of injury. You can locate them by looking for the First Aid symbol on the event site map.
What items are NOT allowed at Eats and Beats?
Alcohol, illegal drugs, distribution of promotional material, drones, any items considered dangerous or otherwise illegal, weapons of any kind, laser lights, water pistols, skateboards, roller blades or the like, no external food or picnics.
Is smoking permitted at Eats and Beats?
Given that Eats and Beats is family friendly event, as well as an outdoor food precinct, smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere inside the event site.
Do you include market stall or children’s rides?
The regular Eats & Beats does not include market stalls, however during special occasions we may decide to include market stalls. Make sure you like the Eats & Beats Facebook page for updates. The event doesn’t include children’s rides, however, we do include old fashioned style games at most of the Eats & Beats events.
Are there toilet facilities available on the event site?
Yes. All Eats and Beats events hire in portable toilets for the events, which include wheelchair accessible toilets.
